Tell us about what you’re doing now

“I’m in my final year at the University of Bristol and I absolutely love cooking – studying languages has really complemented my passion for food.

What is your biggest achievement to date?

“Winning a national cooking competition to cook with Omar Allibhoy.

He was trained by the godfather of Spanish cooking, Ferrán Adriá, and it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life.

How did you get to where you are today?

“Hard work and determination.

What are your fondest memories of Bradford Grammar School?

“Latin lessons! Always had a good laugh mixed with great teaching – the best way to learn!

How did Bradford Grammar School prepare you for further study/your career?

“Independent learning prepared me for university life.

What advice would you give to current pupils at Bradford Grammar School?

“Be confident, be yourself and give your all to everything you do.
