An old school building
Pupils at Bradford Grammar School were celebrating today after receiving their A Level results.

Over 72% of grades were at A* to B with 48% at A* to A. 20% of all grades achieved were the highly coveted A* grade. 11 pupils achieved three or more A* grades, of whom 6 scored a magnificent four grades at A*. One pupil managed a very impressive three A* and two A grades. Almost 30% of the cohort achieved three or more A Levels at A* to A.

STEM subjects have had a very impressive year with two-thirds of all A Level Maths grades either A* or A, and over three-quarters of Further Maths grades A* or A. 70% of our Computer Science grades were also A* or A, and more than three-quarters of our Physics grades were the top grades too. Biology, Chemistry and DT also continued to perform strongly.

The school has enormous talent in Art with 8 out of the 9 grades achieved an A*; one of our Art students was recognised by OCR as being one of the highest performing students in the country. The performing arts performed strongly with both Music and Drama achieving impressively high grades. Our Classics Department was celebrating superb results in Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation, and humanities subjects and languages such as Geography, German, History, RS and Spanish all obtained a large number of A* to B grades.

Bradford Grammar School is enormously proud of the achievements of our departing Year 13 students, and there are many outstanding individual performances amongst these results. The overwhelming majority of our leavers have a place at their university of choice, and we wish them every success and happiness in the next stage of their educational journey.
