Exercise and happiness go hand in hand. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to seek out a sport they enjoy, regardless of their ability.
Facilities
Our sports facilities are renowned and include a sports barn, 25m swimming pool, sports’ pavilion, all weather sports’ pitch, squash, tennis courts and more. We have pupils participating at national and county levels, both at school and as Old Bradfordians.
All our facilities are of a superb quality and our sports department provides an outstanding range of sporting, health and fitness opportunities for pupils throughout the School. Here is a flavour of the facilities at BGS:

- Sports Hall
- Sports Barn – covered tennis and netball courts
- Fitness Suite with rowing machines, cycling machines, treadmills and weights

- Rowers make use of the River Aire in Saltaire

The school buildings range from an impressive frontage and lawns, a main hall (described by many as ‘Hogwarts’) and a range of traditional and more modern classrooms.
