US tax payers

If you are paying US taxes, you can make a donation to BGS through the BSUF (British Schools and Universities Foundation Inc). Grants made by the BSUF to BGS enable US donors to claim an income tax deduction under Section 501 (C) (3) from the US Inland Revenue Service.

When making your donation to BSUF, please cite Bradford Grammar School as the ‘Approved Institution’ you wish to support.

Donating by cheque

You can donate by cheque to: The British Schools and Universities Foundation, 641 Lexington Avenue, 15th Flo., New York, NY 10022-4503.

Donate online

BSUF credit card donations are processed by ‘Network for Good’, a company specialising in serving non-profit organisations. Simply click here and follow the instructions. Please enter ‘Bradford Grammar School’ when prompted for the name of the ‘Approved Institution’ that you wish to support.

Donations received by credit card will be reduced by 3% – the fee charged to process your donation. For more information about the BSUF, please visit their website.

Please note that the BSUF disburses grants to Approved Institutions on a quarterly basis.

Canadian tax payers

Canadian taxpayers can make donations directly to the School.

Transnational Giving Europe

Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) is a network of prestigious philanthropic institutions collaborating across 21 participating countries. TGE enables donors (individuals and corporations) resident in a participating country to make a donation to a charity in another member country, whilst benefitting from tax advantages in their country of residence.

If you are resident in a participating country, you are able to make your gift to BGS via TGE foundation (a list is available here). The foundation will then provide you with a tax receipt and transfer your gift to BGS.

Please note that it can take up to three months for your donation to reach us from when you make it.
