Pupils from Bradford Grammar School (BGS) have raised over 7K for Forget Me Not Hospice, the pioneering Children’s charity supporting children with life-shortening conditions – plus their entire families, across West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.

The money was raised through the School’s latest Fashion Show at BGS, displaying many pupils’ outstanding teamwork and comradery on putting on a great show for the audience, with fantastic routines to showcase a range of exciting retailers, both continued and new supporters. The theme this year was a night at the movies.

BGS Netball Coach and Organiser Georgina Jones said: “We’ve been so impressed with the incredible enthusiasm of the pupils and staff at Bradford Grammar School and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in this wonderful fundraising event. This money will go towards desperately needed services for children with life-shortening conditions.”

BGS Headmaster said: “The pupils at BGS and all the staff worked very hard to make the show a community fundraising event and as a result raised a large amount of money for a great cause close to our hearts at the School – we are very proud of everyone.”

“Community involvement is integral to the happiness and prosperity of our School, an ethos that we strive to share with our pupils. We actively encourage pupils to see themselves not just as a part of the BGS family, but the wider Yorkshire community.”
