Welcome from Sarah Flaherty, Head of Year 12
This is a place where young people find their niche, embrace opportunity and discover what makes them special. In our Sixth Form, students gain so much more than just academic skills, thanks to the array of activities they participate in above and beyond their academic curriculum. Our enrichment programme offers them opportunities to take short courses such as finance, public speaking, Italian and cooking. They can also can take part in our Duke of Edinburgh scheme or try one of our many and wide-ranging volunteering opportunities. Whatever your child’s talent, they will shine in the Sixth Form at BGS, where opportunity is key.
Students have access to a refurbished Sixth Form Centre, a spacious light-filled space where they can excel in their studies, unwind and eat with their friends. The fully accessible centre includes designated zones for private study and relaxation and features a new IT suite, complete with fast, wireless connectivity, and a cafe with a fresh, seasonal menu served daily.
